Chanter 232A, 11

1. Residence, curate and lecturer: There is a Resident Curate at Alverdiscott who is Licensed by your Lordship & with such a Salary & stipend as he is pleased with all & your Lordship was pleased to order. The Parishes of Newton Tracey & Alverdiscott are distant from each other not more than {half} a Mile.

2. Other benefices: I have no Benefice only the Cures of Alverdiscott and Newton.

3. Divine service at other churches: I perform Divine Service at only the above Churches.

4. Frequency of divine service: Divine Service is performed at Newton only once in a fortnight it being a very small Rectory not more than £30 per annum and situated so near to Alverdiscott that the inhabitants constantly attend Divine Service there.

5. Frequency of communion: The Sacrament is administered four times in the Year: The Number of Communicants amount to near 21.

6. Catechising of children: During the Summer Months.

7. Church fabric: The Church & Chancel is in good repair, the Churchyard is well kept, and all things for Divine Service are decent.

8. Glebe terrier: There is a Terrier.

9. Number of families: There are sixteen Families.

10. Chapels: There is no Chapel.

11. Papists, dissenters and meeting houses: There are no reputed Papists, nor any Meeting Houses for dissenting Congregations.

12. School, alms-houses, hospital and charitable endowments: There is no publick School; There are no Alms-Houses or other Charitable Endowments; there is no Parochial Library.

13. Charity: There are no Lands, Tenements, or other Benefactions, for charitable uses.

    Priest's orders and institution: Instituted April ye 8th 1741.
    Ordained Priest ye 12th day of July 1730.
